New Grand-Niece

Yesterday morning Annabelle Betty Gill was born to my niece Amy and her husband Andrew.

Toby, Liz and I are going to vist Annabelle and Amy tonight in hospital.

I am very pleased that they have named her after my Mum.

What a difference a day makes!

Today is a good day. Yesterday I went to the doctor and she changed some medication and today I CAN WALK... well at least with a much lesser level of pain than I have had for months now. I got so excited that I have been dancing in the kitchen and I even I went for a walk around the block after dinner. Toby came with me - I think he was worried that I would run away, or fall down, or something...

Tomorrow is going to be an even better day because my niece, Amy, is having her baby (by caesarian) first thing in the morning. I am going to be anxiously awaiting the SMS from my brother.

Having taken note of Peter Macinnis' blog I decided I should have one too, if only to be able to occassionally post pictures for others to see.

Nothing to report today however.
